She presented her research fundings under the supervision of Professor Anna Odrowąż-Coates who has served as the TISSA supervisor for several consecutive years. Professor Coates also observed the presentation of two doctoral students from The Maria Grzegorzewska University, Izabela Pawłowska (psychology - year 2) presenting preliminary results of her PhD thesis dedicated to participation in LGBTQ+ movements and Patrycja Mika (pedagogy - year 1), presenting on the concepts of slojd and handwork within school education.
TISSA is the largest European network of social scientists interested in social work. It has been established over 20 years ago between Belgium, Netherlands and Germany. It has since expanded to most European countries and beyond. The network enables international peer review of ongoing doctoral projects between participating universities enabling cross check of quality, novelty and methodological advancements. The list of this year supervisors carrying out the expert supervision is available in the enclosed photo from the programme 2025.
Great interest in participating at TISSA makes it a week-long event starting with 3-4 days pre-conference doctoral consultations.
