Professor Emeritus Sun-Jae Song has visited the UNESCO Janusz Korczak Chair in Social Pedagogy to bring 

2 Korczak's books translated from German to Korean (Kaytek the wizzard and How to love the child). 

Professor is considering a creation of Korczak Sociaty in South Korea and joining the International Korczak Association (IKA) Network in the near future.

The visit was facilitated by Prof. dr hab. Anna Odrowąż-Coates, President of IKA (ika.today) and Barbara Janina Sochal, President of Polish Korczak Association.

The visit was preceded by a trip to Korczakianum, where Marta Ciesielska and Prof. Marta Rakoczy greeted him. 

Professor Sun-Jae Song was very interested in our patron Maria Grzegorzewska and her heritage, ever-present in the Maria Grzegorzewska Museum, where he spent the afternoon exploring our Polish pedagogical heritage of social pedagogy and special education as well as the history of our university.
