Communication and Information Accessibility

A PJM interpreter is available online instantly and does not require an advance application. The link to connect with the interpreter can be found directly on our website.

Inside the buildings, rooms are marked in Braille, and the corridors feature high-contrast horizontal floor markings. The stairs are equipped with special high-contrast, non-slip nosing profiles. Additionally, the rooms are fitted with NFC tags containing digital records of the room numbers or other vital information (e.g., staircase, corridor, accessible toilet). Class schedules outside lecture rooms and classrooms are provided via QR codes that link directly to the USOSWeb system with real-time, up-to-date schedules.

Reception and security desks, the library and reading room, the student affairs office, the internship office, the financial aid office, and the postgraduate studies centre are all equipped with desktop induction loops.

The university is also equipped with Totupoint system beacons to support navigation for visually impaired and blind individuals at the campus and building entrances, as well as inside the facilities (40 points in total).
