Learning Beyond Borders: APS at an International Erasmus+ BIP in Greece

What does democratic participation mean in today's world? How can education promote human rights and active citizenship?

These questions brought together students and academics from across Europe during the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Empowering Democratic Participation and Human Rights Education, coordinated by the University of Patras, Greece.

For the first time, students from the Maria Grzegorzewska University (APS) joined this innovative Erasmus+ initiative, combining online learning with an intensive international experience in Greece.

APS was proudly represented by its students and two academic staff members, Dr. hab. Anna Perkowska-Klejman and Dr. Ewa Lewandowska, who actively participated in discussions, workshops, and collaborative activities focused on democratic engagement and human rights education.

The programme provided a unique opportunity to build international networks, exchange perspectives, and develop competencies essential for active participation in contemporary society.

We are proud to see APS students and staff engaging in international cooperation and creating meaningful connections across Europe.
