Biography

• Since 2014 employed at Maria Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw, previously on the post of adjunct, currently as a professor. He had been working as a researcher in the Educational Research Institute in Warsaw. The Habilitation in social sciences in the field of Pedagogy obtained in 2022; the PhD in Pedagogy at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun in 2013; Master Degree in Sociology at Warsaw University of Life Sciences in 2009. He graduated Post-diploma Studies from Social and Market Research at Warsaw University.

  His main area of scientific and research interests concern the pedagogy of youth, including topics as social orientations, political identities, expectations towards future as well as social and cultural determinants of socialization and education.

  Author of i.e.: two monographies entitled: „Between blossom and catastrophy. Students about the future of Poland” and „Political engagement of young Polish”, articles, co-author of empirical research reports on education and co-editor of scientific books.

  He is a member of Pedagogy of Youth Section in the Committee of Pedagogical Sciences in the Polish Academy of Sciences.
