Editor-In-Chief from APS leads the LDS journal published by ISA

Prof. Anna Odrowąż-Coates has accepted the nomination for the position of Editor-in-Chief of the ISA magazine "Language Discourse & Society".

We are pleased to announce that the Vice-Rector for Development, prof. Anna Odrowąż-Coates, has accepted the nomination of the ISA Executive Board for the position of Editor-in-Chief of the ISA magazine "Language Discourse & Society". The candidacy of the professor was submitted during the reporting and election meeting at the IV Forum of Sociology in Porto Alegre and received the unanimous support of the Journal’s Editorial Board and the Board of ISA RC25.

Recently, the journal was edited by prof. Natalie Byfield of St John's University in New York.

"Language Discourse & Society" was established by Prof. Federico Farrini from Great Britain in 2011. Since then, it has become one of the leading scientific journals in the community of language sociologists, sociolinguists, discourse researchers and methodologists of semantic analysis and critical discourse analysis.
