Biography

Doctor of humanities in the field of pedagogy, assistant professor at The Maria Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw.
Her research interests are focused on the pedagogy of giftedness and creativity, cognitive independence and the use of new technologies in education. She is the author of the book Educational Dimension of Cognitive Self-Reliance. Theoretical Sketches and Empirical Inquiry in the Context of Middle School Students' Ability (2016), as well as co-author of the books Giftedness and Creativity (2010) and Computer creativity training (2011).
She was the secretary of a series of conferences devoted to the subject of giftedness and creativity and editor / co-editor of 9 books in the field of pedagogy of giftedness and pedagogy of creativity.
As part of the project of the Ministry of National Education, she was the co-author of the Model of work with a particularly gifted student (2010), commonly implemented in Polish schools. In the ORE project "Development and implementation of a comprehensive system for working with a gifted student" (2012), together with a team of experts, she developed substantive material on systemic solutions for working with a gifted student. In the years 2018-2020, she was the head of the project: The Maria Grzegorzewska University, University of Young Explorers (NCBiR grant).
In the years 2012-2018, she was the Deputy Director of the Institute of Pedagogy, she co-created the programs of studies and specializations preparing teachers of computer science and pedagogy of giftedness. She was the promoter of numerous bachelor's and master's theses.
