    Educational sensitivity of students with mild intellectual disability - conceptualization, diagnostic tool, results of empirical research;

    The method of fairy-tale meetings in education, rehabilitation, therapy for children with disabilities;

    Integrative and inclusive education - a model of education in the perspective of "unity in diversity", a model of educational changes in teaching according to differences;

    Disability Studies in International Scientific and Teaching Experiences;

    Special education as an area of theoretical and empirical analyzes of educating students with special educational needs;

    Authorship of theirs own life of a person with a disability - conceptualization of the issue in the perspective of well-being, subjectivity, optimal functioning and support

    Authorship of theirs own life of a person with a disability - qualitative diagnostics, development of a measurement tool and assessment of its reliability.

    Positions held  

    From 2004 to 2020, the director of the Institute of Special Pedagogy and during this period the head of the Department of Pedagogical Therapy, then the Department of Fundamentals of Special Pedagogy and in the last four years the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies on Disability.

    From 2005 to 2020, editor-in-chief of the scientific journal „Man - Disability - Society“.
