The celebration was a great opportunity to deepen the knowledge about a few European countries, including Poland.
After the warm welcome from prof. Danuta Uryga, Vice-Rector for Development and Community Engagement and Krystyna Heland-Kurzak PhD, Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator, students from all over the Europe made presentations about their countries. The public could listen to a lot of facts about Slovenia 🇸🇮, Greece 🇬🇷, Germany 🇩🇪, Spain 🇪🇸 and Poland 🇵🇱 (especially the “Kurpie” region).
🎵 During the event, we could watch a flash mob – it was a surprise by Special Education students who sang the well-known polish song “Na jednej z dzikich plaż”. This special performance made our celebration more joyful.
💃 At the end, Polish education students showed our foreign guests a Polish national dance – polonaise. Many people joined the dancing performance to have even more fun.
Among the public we had a special guest – a visiting professor Tetiana Burlaienko from the National Academy of Educational Sciences in Kyiv, Ukraine 🇺🇦. The professor came to our university for a week to teach about sustainable development. We hope that this show and her visit at our University was a great experience both for her and the students.
Once again, we would like to thank all the people who participated in this event. We hope that you feel inspired to start your own Erasmus+ adventure! 🇪🇺
