The Academy of Young Researchers

03-07-2022

Young researchers had a chance to present the results of their work on the international stage. The first part of the Academy of Young Scientists is behind us.

On May 27, 2022, the Young Scientists Circle of the Polish Pedagogical Society, in cooperation with the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Education and the University of Warsaw, organized the Young Scientists Academy. The Academy was an important element of the 15th UNESCO International Summer School of the Janusz Korczak Chair of Social Pedagogy.

The session was solemnly opened by Prof. Joanna Madalińska-Michalak, PhD - Head of the Department of Didactics and Teacher Education at the University of Warsaw, and also one of the initiators of PTP Young Researchers Club. Within the framework of two sessions, led by Dr. Ewa Lewandowska (APS) and Dr. Małgorzata Korko (APS), current achievements and results of research activities were presented by representatives of many countries - India, Canada, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Poland or Syria. In total, the Academy program included nearly 20 speeches.

In the plenary session, the opening papers were presented. We invite you to read their contents:

  • "Women in Islam end Ethical Research Issues" - dr hab. Katarzyna Górak-Sosnowska, prof. SGH (SGH in Warsaw)
  • "Introduction to Ayurveda and Its Philosophy for All Inclusive Social Life" - prof. Mahesh T. S. (Prasanna Ayurveda Medical College, India)
