Open lecture at the Doctoral School – wrap-up

On 29.05.2025 Prof. Mark D. Juszczak from St John's University in New York delivered an open lecture to our doctoral students and faculty.

Presentation titled: “Digital epistemology - methodological implications for graduate research in the social sciences”, raised a lot of interest and there is hope that Professor will start collaborating more frequently with our Doctoral School. There is also a perspective of collaboration with the PhD in Communication programme at St John's University.

Mark Darius Juszczak is a tenured Associate Professor in Digital Media and Innovation with ten years of experience teaching courses at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral level. He is the current undergraduate Communications program director and the former Master of Science International Communication graduate program director at St. John’s University. He has supervised over 20 master’s theses and is currently supervising 3 PhD dissertations. He has published numerous articles in international peer-reviewed journals and several peer-reviewed book chapters. He is also an inventor with 1 patent filed in the United States Patent and Trademark Office with a 2nd invention under review. He has almost 20 years of experience as a practitioner and consultant in knowledge management, digital media epistemology, strategic communication, and scientific media.
