A part of the Rector's College team, consisting of APS Chancellor Maciej Gajewski M.A. and Vice Rector for Development Professor Anna Odrowąż-Coates, accepted an invitation from the Ministry of Education and Science to participate in a training trip on internationalization and university management.

During their stay at Erasmus University of Rotterdam (EUR), together with a group of 15 Polish university leaders, they are participating in an intensive training, led by management masters.

"We have many points of convergence, the EUR university has elected a woman Rector for the first time in its history, just like our Academy, and is in the middle of verifying the implementation of the assumptions of the development plan for 2020-2024" said Anna Odrowąż-Coates in the account of the trip.

The group is supervised by Wilfred Mijnhardt, Policy Director. The visit takes place at the MBA and EMBA education center. On the first day of the session, Farand Laghaei, Head of Department - Administrative Affairs, delivered an interesting lecture on strategy, mission, values and goals. "The training reaffirmed my belief that our APS strategy for 2021-2030 and the strategic goals it contains do not deviate from global standards," said Maciej Gajewski during the lectures.

Professor Bieneke Verheiljke, Director of Education Innovation, spoke about innovations in education programs. In the programs of the Academy we put equal emphasis on reflexivity, project- and practice-based learning and quality of education.

The study visit to the campus yielded many interesting development ideas and infrastructure solutions. The study tour ends on May 14.
