During the meeting in the Senate Hall, the guests were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Development and Community Engagement ,Prof. Danuta Uryga, and the Head of the Department of Social Pedagogy, Prof. Anna Perkowska-Klejman. Next, Deputy Director of the Institute of Education, Dr Marlena Grzelak-Klus, presented the training of teaching staff and the challenges of contemporary education, and the Rector's Plenipotentiary for International Cooperation, Dr Lidia Zabłocka-Żytka, discussed issues related to psychological support for students.
Finally, Dr Krystyna Heland-Kurzak gave the participants a tour of the University, presenting its history and achievements.
The meeting was held in cooperation with the Foundation SZANSA (President Magdalena Szlom) and the GOEUROPE EJBM Sachsen-Anhalt organisation.
It was an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and reflect on education in Poland and Germany.
