Join us in Warsaw, in September 2019 to further your research studies at one of the most important universities connected to the figures of Janusz Korczak and Maria Grzegorzewska – scholars and practitioners vital for the international issues of human rights and children’s rights. We have 12 years of experience in organization of International Summer Schools, offering intensive learning and research opportunity, located in beautiful Warsaw.
The International Summer School organized by UNESCO Janusz Korczak Chair is dedicated primarily to social scientists. Doctoral candidates and post-docs (up to 5 years after their PhD) may apply for UNESCO scholarships. Paying participants may be at any stage of their academic career.
The Summer School's programme includes a series of interactive workshops and group collaboration on dedicated projects led by experienced academics. The outcome will include joint publications in peer-reviewed journals, resulting from activities during the Summer School. There will also be lectures, study visits and individual meetings with experts to 2 enhance participants knowledge of Janusz Korczak's pedagogical heritage.
Participants will have an opportunity to visit UNESCO heritage site and to share their own research findings.
Participants will also take part in the coinciding event: the International ISA RC25 mid-term Conference dedicated to "Language and Society. Research Advances in Social Sciences", participants will be awarded a separate certificate for this activity. The language used during the school activities is English.
