Biography

  • sociologist, graduate of University of Warsaw, habilitation obtained at the Faculty of Sociology at the University of Warsaw. Long-term collaborator of the Robert Zajonc Institute for Social Studies, University of Warsaw. Fulbright scholar at the University of Michigan (2017-2018), and NAWA Bekker Program fellow at the Iowa State University (2021-2022). Author of two books and articles published in journals such as „Socjologia Ruralis”, „Journal of Rural Studies”, and „Population, Space and Place”. Principal investigator of an NCN grant (2013-2017) and researcher in numerous international projects, including within COST Action.
